‘Get Smart’ Synopsis

The new action comedy ‘Get Smart’ is about Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell) a secret agent who seems to have a problem doing his job. He and the rest of the agency are on a mission to stop one of the world’s largest evil crime syndicate that is called the KAOS.

‘Kung Fu Panda’ Synopsis

Jack Black is back in the new animated comedy ‘Kung Fu Panda’. In the movie the evil snow leopard warrior – Tai Lung – has escaped from prison and all of China is in fear of what might happen next. All seems lost until a prophecy shows them that a hero is going to come and save the day.

‘Indiana Jones’ Receives Mixed Reviews

People have been anticipating the next installment of the ‘Indiana Jones’ series for close to two decades. Now the wait is over and people are getting ready for their chance to be the first one to see it. Yet, with all this hype many of us are wondering if the movie is really that good. After all it’s been almost 20 years (or more) since Harrison Ford has dusted off his fedora. Is he up to the challenge?

‘Sex And The City’ Banned From Two Israeli Cities

The new ‘Sex and the City’ movie is received much hype from previous fans. Everywhere you can see commercials and ads to leave you in anticipation for the up and coming movie. Everywhere that is except two Israeli cities.

Forum Films – Israeli distributor for the new movie – stated that they would not be releasing any posters or billboards in Petah Tikva and Jerusalem because it has the word ‘sex’ in the title. Both of these cities are very religious.

M. Night Shymalan’s ‘The Happening’ Synopsis

M. Night Shymalan is famous for some of the most thrilling movies that include ‘The Sixth Sense’, ‘Signs’, ‘The Village’, and ‘The Lady in the Water’. His new movie ‘The Happening’ looks just as intense and possibly even more thrilling than we ever could have thought.

M. Night Shyamalan puts PG-13 suspense on pause to tell this grim apocalyptic tale about a family fleeing a natural disaster that poses a grave threat to the whole of humanity. Mark Wahlberg and Spencer Breslin star.

‘Prince Caspian’ Picks Up #1 Spot At Box Office

Audiences were rushing to the theatre this weekend to check out the next big movie that came out this summer. “Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” received glowing reviews and if that doesn’t convince people that it is worth seeing than maybe the fact that it was #1 in the box office will do the trick.

Wachowski Brothers Overdue It With “Speed Racer”

The brilliant minds behind “The Matrix” have put their minds together once again and this time they gave us something a bit different. “Speed Racer” is based off of the 1960’s Japanese anime television series. Instead the two brothers – Andy and Larry Wachowski – have created a long-winded and over the top movie that many may find difficult to watch.

Tom Cruise Offered To Take Part In Next “Mission Impossible” Installment

Sumner Redstone stated this week that he has no problem with Tom Cruise starring in the next installment to “Mission Impossible” movie series. The fact that he cut ties with the actor back in 2006 has been pushed aside.

Redstone executive chairman and controlling shareholder of Viacom Inc. and CBS Corp. ended a 14-year relationship with Cruise and his producing partner in August 2006, kicking them off the Paramount Pictures lot and ending their lucrative deal to develop projects for the studio. Despite the severed relationship, Cruise, 45, is in talks with Paramount to star in a fourth “Mission: Impossible” film. Viacom is Paramount’s parent company.

Iron Man Sequel Already In The Works?

Iron Man was the first big movie to hit the theatres this summer and it took in over $100 million in its opening weekend. Many were skeptical about the new super hero movie (the first since Spider-Man 3). Of course who better to play the bad boy Tony Stark than Robert Downey Jr. (a true bad boy himelf).
